A Kumaoni house, held with care

Munsyari Heritage Hills is a small boutique homestay in the Kumaon Himalayas, shaped by traditional mountain architecture and the everyday rhythms of the valley.

The homestay follows the proportions of traditional Kumaoni homes, with stone walls, timber detailing and sloped roofs. Inside, modern residential comforts sit quietly beside the older textures of the house.

Each room is planned around the view of the peaks and the changing light through the day, so the building feels settled into its hillside rather than placed upon it.

Our hosts make time to share the valley, from walking routes to regional food, and to leave you space to rest. We keep the property light on the fragile alpine landscape, using local materials and mindful daily practices.
